Cuppings

Cuppings

Cupping is an ancient Chinese therapy that helps to improve blood circulation and provide pain relief for tight or injured muscles. During cupping treatment, plastic, rubber, bamboo, acrylic, or glass, cups are placed on an affected area by applying suction. These cups are then left in place for several minutes depending on the ailment being treated. While cupping therapy is synonymous with TCM, it does not require the use of acupuncture needles but rather uses glass or plastic cuppings.
